Please be aware that there are roadworks taking place for the next two weeks on Edward Street near the entrance to our Norwich Community Hub.
Temporary lights have been added close to the entrance to Beckham Place and the adjacent car park.
The footpath on the far side of the street from the Beckham Place entrance has been closed. This does not affect the entrance to Beckham Place as it is on the other side of the street and you should still be able to cross the Edward Street with the lights on the junction of Magdalen street and on the footpath on the junction of New Botolph Street.
The bus stop on Edward Street has also been temporarily moved closer to the junction to Magdalen Street (just on the other side of the entrance to Beckham Place).
There should be a Traffic Management Operative on site during the works to be of assistance to people whom require it.
If you have any issues or concerns around accessing our Norwich Community Hub please feel free to get in contact with us by calling 01603 573000 or emailing [email protected].
We’ve included and image of the traffic management plan below for those who may find this useful.
Image: Outline of the traffic management plan for the Edward Street roadworks indicating the footpath diversion, temporary traffic lights and temporary bus stop relocation described in the post above. There is also a series of images of five kerbs that are to be reduced with cold lay tarmac for wheelchair access.
